Pair Of Small Tea Light Candle Holders in Cedar and / or Walnut

This is a pair of small tea light candle holder in either Texas aromatic cedar or Texas black walnut (or both). These items are “made-to-order” items and will ship within approximately 10 days of purchase.

These items are made from either cedar or walnut. Both types of wood have variations of both heart-wood (dark) and sap-wood (light blonde). Unless otherwise requested, these items use mostly the heart-wood (dark) wood. Greater mixes of sap-wood (blonde) can be requested upon order. The natural dark wood and lighter sap-wood are typical of both cedar and walnut and add those little touches that veneers or staining can’t duplicate.

All the wood is stored inside until the moisture count is less than 10% so that warping and cracking won’t occur over time (not for outdoor use).

The finish procedure is 2-3 layers of super blonde shellac to seal the wood from moisture and then 4-8 layers of waterborne satin, furniture grade, polyurethane to make them durable to scratches sanding in-between coats to ensure a perfect finish quality. All finishing products are non-toxic and the wood is from renewable sources.

The bottoms include four felt feet to prevent scratching of any delicate surface you may place them on.

The tea light holder is 8.5″ long by 3″ wide by 1″ thick. The holder will accommodate any candles with a base diameter of 1.5″ or less. You can also use LED tea lights if desired.
